3 Bedroom Cottage in Lake of Bays, Dwight
Welcome to Cedar & Moss! Your home away from home in Muskoka. Situated a short 3 minute drive to adorable Dwight beach and only 20 minutes from Algonquin Park, we are in the perfect location for any travellers, whether you’re here for a week long family cottage stay or for a short stop on your way to portaging through the park.
Please bring along anything that will make you feel at home! But keep in mind, we have done our very best to accommodate all home essentials, comfort, and entertainment.
Kitchen:
Our favourite space at the cottage! The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking, baking and entertaining needs. You are encouraged to use anything you see during your stay. All cabinets are labeled annd meticulously organized for your convenience. There is unfortunately no dishwasher but, you won’t mind washing dishes by the beautiful forest views! Highchair and seating for 8+. You’ll also find some outdoor toys and beach gear hiding in that bench!

Living Room:
The living room is ready to entertain. We have multiple streaming services for you to use, puzzles, a mix of new and classic board games, books, and loads of soft squishy comfort on the oversized couch. Both entrances have gates and we have done our best to ensure this space is as baby friendly as possible for safe and comfy free play. This room has a fan and huge amounts of natural light.
Master Bedroom:
The master bedroom is an oasis. Amazing natural light shines in through the morning and there is aesthetically pleasing furniture and decor to fill the space. All linens, pillows and blankets are taken care of and there is a tv, desk, full length mirror, wardrobe, dresser, oversized love seat and a kettle in the room. You’ll love “hanging out” in the Insta worthy swing chair!
The Twin Room:
This room features 2 comfy twin beds as well as a bookshelf full of books for kids, lego, a full dresser, mirror and calming zen decor.
The Blue Room:
If you like to still get a workout in on vacation you’ll appreciate the air bike/dumbbells/and yoga mat! This room also features a king bed, dresser, and a cozy little secret reading nook next to a window facing the cedar trees.
Bathroom:
The full bathroom is beautifully decorated to put you in the mood for a relaxing shower or bath. 6 Towels are provided at the start of your stay. Other bathroom amenities can be found in baskets and drawers.
The Property:
We are on 2.4 acres, surrounded by crown-land forest which you are free to explore! Just keep in mind that wild animals live there so be safe! We hope you’re lucky enough to see some deer, they love to visit the yard.
We have a big fire pit out back with 6 Muskoka chairs. Firewood and kindling is provided in the shed. We have no neighbours so feel free to blast the music outside! The property also features a hammock, picnic table, and large deck with patio furniture.
Embrace the magic of every season! There’s always something to do in every temperature. If you have winter toys, you’ll love the opportunities lake of bays has to offer. Right near a snowmobile trail and a 16 minute drive to Hidden Valley Ski Resort.
